We drove from Northern Virginia to Port Canaveral two days before the cruise. We stayed at the new Residence Inn Cape Canaveral. We had a two bedroom suite for 6 people which had plenty of room. The sofa bed was not too comfy for the kids but then again, they are kids and will survive. Weather was sunny with temps in the low to mid 80s.
